He’s Back!
The long awaited answer is here. Brett Favre
is coming back for another year. On Wednesday January 31, 2007 he told Packer’s
head coach Mike McCarthy that he was going to give it another try. After he
told the coach that he was coming back, Brett said that he was trying to call
some of the other players and he couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Donald Driver
was in a press concert when Brett tried to call so he couldn’t drop everything
and answer, so Brett left a message on his cell phone and said the same thing
he told coach – “I’m gonna give it another try.”
Donald said that when he got the message he was so happy. So it looks like our
little poll last issue was wrong because most of us indicated that he would not
be coming back.
Brett Favre has been playing for the
Packers for 17 seasons. When he was just getting started with the Pack they had
him on the bench most of the time, but then they put him in once and figured
out he could play! After they had him in and saw he could play, the next year they
put him in and eventually he became the all time quarterback for the Packers.
Last year he couldn’t decide if he was going to come back for another year or
not and he came back and said that it was his last year. But he is back again
and says that he just wants to have some fun and play some football. So there
you have it. Brett Favre is coming back for another
year and hopefully it will be good one!
